Cruz Torres

Cruz is a creative and strategic designer whose goal is to cultivate a lasting connection between brands and their audiences. With a passion for elevating designs, typography trends and color palettes, Cruz knows how to bring a brand to life across a variety of avenues, from websites and social platforms to printed marketing materials. At CONNECTIVE, Cruz partners with clients to visualize their message and build a brand presence to help them stand out among their peers. 

After a brief stint in sales, Cruz started his career designing for the mortgage and real estate industries prior to joining CONNECTIVE. His design experience includes digital and print, website design, logo creation, brand development and elevation, strategic brand guideline development and typography. He also volunteers to manage branding for an annual charity event called Foodie Philanthropy in Fort Worth, Texas, which brings local chefs, restaurants and food lovers together all for a great cause.

Cruz holds an Associate’s degree in commercial art and advertising from Texas State Technical College Waco, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus on advertising and design from The University of Texas at Arlington. 

Outside of work, Cruz is actively involved in the Scout community, where he designs t-shirts and swag items and occasionally sells tacos out of the ‘77 International Scout he’s restoring. Cruz loves spending time in the kitchen and can be found cooking anything from tamales to pasta, while also enjoying artistic activities like his own personal design work and playing 80s and 90s rock music on his acoustic guitar.
