Before joining the team, Teresa honed her copywriting and communications prowess working her way up to leadership roles and spreading her wings as a freelancer in a variety of industries. In these roles, Teresa crafted dynamic content with a particular focus on increasing employee and member engagement and education, as well as connecting businesses with consumers, vendors and partners. Her belief in the importance of learning even led her to serve as a middle school English and reading teacher for two years.
Teresa has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in English from Texas Tech University. She is Google Analytics certified and has continued learning about the ever-evolving marketing industry by regularly taking professional development courses.
Outside of work, Teresa loves to read and has a preference for historical fiction. She also keeps up her love of learning by constantly seeking new experiences, whether it’s visiting a new travel destination with her family, spending time outdoors, mastering a new recipe or heading out to a concert.
