Allison Umlauf
UX DesignerAs a User Experience Designer at CONNECTIVE Agency, Allison blends strategic user research with robust visual design principles. She is dedicated to eliminating user friction, designing intuitive end-to-end journeys, and delivering efficient digital solutions for clients. From start to finish, she thrives on learning about each client’s unique goals, analyzing expectations and branding infrastructure, creating intuitive flows, and developing the optimal execution for their websites and mobile applications.
With her B.A. degree in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication from The University of Texas at Dallas, Allison acquired valuable hands-on experience through a UX internship, mentorships, campus roles and freelance projects. Driven by a collaborative spirit, Allison excels at building strong client relationships to deeply understand the inner workings of their business, their immediate operational needs, and their long-term goals.
What Allison loves most about her time with CONNECTIVE is the studio’s open culture, where collaboration flows naturally and everyone’s ideas are welcomed. She finds her ultimate fulfillment in growing alongside her clients and transforming their vision into reality.
Allison’s journey into UX design is anchored in her lifelong identity as an artist. Her grandfather sparked this passion at an early age, cultivating her creative freedom and teaching her to trust her artistic instincts. By pairing this creative foundation with a natural empathy for people, she discovered her true calling in UX design. Today, Allison leverages these insights to design digital solutions, driven by the belief that a seamless experience makes life easier for everyone.
Outside of work, Allison looks to nature to stay grounded, usually by hitting the hiking trails. The rest of her time is spent discovering new coffee shops, gaming, and designing custom wall art for her home. She is also an avid collector of die-cast cars, with a major emphasis on hunting down MK4 Supras.
