Agape Care Group is a healthcare company that provides hospice, palliative and inpatient care in the Southeast. Our partnership began with Agape Care Group when it was Hospice Care of South Carolina as they prepared to acquire Agape Hospice, forming the largest hospice and palliative care provider for adults and children in the state.
01 Key Goals
- Effectively communicate the news about the acquisition for internal and external audiences
- Develop a new brand for the combined organization that would bring the team together wearing the same ‘jersey’ and collaborating to build one culture
- Establish Agape Care Group as a leading healthcare provider in the region, enabling it to grow organically and through acquisition
02 Results
- Generated 32 stories in the media highlighting the acquisition of Agape Hospice by Hospice Care of South Carolina, including these features:
- Supported the leadership team with consistent, transparent and engaging internal communications as they integrate the companies, enabling them to improve employee ratings (by 23%) and maintain low voluntary turnover (below 3%) in the midst of great change.
- Thoughtfully designed a new brand with company-wide input that started with a focus on culture first, then aligning the organization around a shared mission, vision and values.
- Launched new websites for Agape Care Group and its brands in South Carolina and Georgia that help each audience easily find the information they need.
