We also have a strong portfolio of non-profit clients that we get to work with.

CONNECTIVE Agency is looking to add a content marketing specialist to our team to continue expanding our creative writing and content marketing services. We’re looking for talented people who have a solid track record of business writing, content marketing and creative writing experience. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have an acute focus on detail and a relentless commitment to quality, while partnering with teammates to ensure every project is delivered with excellence.

Our team gets to craft content for our clients across a wide variety of mediums including: websites, social media, marketing materials, white papers, blog articles, internal communications, and brand campaigns. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, loves to learn, does their homework, will seek to clearly represent our clients’ brand positioning, key messages and style – oh, and you have to be wicked smart and fun, too!

Candidates should have an interest in working across a wide variety of industries and campaign types. They should be able to work with a high degree of independence and be open to collaborating across disciplines, and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Content marketers on our team are treasured for their ability to connect with clients, understand their goals and voice, dive into research, develop strategies, write, proof, and deliver impactful content across a variety of industries.

  • Delivers on writing projects with a high degree of creativity and quality
  • Is organized, punctual and technically proficient
  • Has an innate intellectual and creative curiosity
  • Learns clients’ business models, plans and objectives to craft content that is aligned with who they are and what they do
  • Leads day-to-day management of client content projects with account leads
  • Communicates directly with clients, understands their needs and proactively recommends solutions and ideas
  • Is a productive member of the team who delivers on deadline with consistently high quality
  • Is able to review/proof/edit content across projects
  • Strong aptitude for client service and client relationship management
  • Contributes to research + planning for accounts
  • Clearly presents and ‘sells’ content concepts connecting their ideas to the clients’ objectives
  • Supports agency new business and marketing efforts
  • Keeps up with industry knowledge and trends and invests time in professional development

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent required

Background/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in content marketing
  • Agency/client relationship management experience a plus
  • Experience with presenting concepts and ideas, then successfully creating content for them
  • AP Style
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
