Becca Martin

Senior B2B Copywriter

Becca is a copywriter at CONNECTIVE Agency with experience creating content for both B2B and B2C audiences. She loves finding the right words to make complicated ideas clear, interesting, and human—and believes the best writing starts with understanding who you’re talking to.

For Becca, writing has always been about connection. Before building her career as a professional writer, she worked with people in nursing homes and volunteered with teenage girls aging out of foster care. Those experiences reinforced something she still brings to her work today: the importance of listening closely. She loves learning what matters to people, pulling the threads of their stories together, and finding the words that help others understand them. Good communication isn’t just about saying what you want to say; it’s about saying what you need to say in a way that makes people want to listen—and helps them feel like you understand them, too.

Becca started her professional writing career in content marketing, developing experience in SEO, content strategy, and writing for audiences across industries. She later moved into proposal writing, where she collaborated with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, persuasive content. Eventually, she found her way back home to content marketing and SEO at CONNECTIVE.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Woman’s University, though her writing credentials technically date back to an eighth-grade poetry contest win…a feeling of accomplishment she is always chasing.

Outside of work, Becca volunteers with cats, collects vintage typewriters, and loves hiking and just about anything that gets her outdoors. She loves to go to the pond near her apartment with a big bag of duck and goose feed. She is an avid reader whose favorite series is a permanent tie between Outlander and The Witcher. Most days, she writes with Archer, her 14-year-old cat and longtime supervisor, firmly planted in her lap.
